A very competitive game between the two sides.

Titans Bierhaus made the journey to Athenry today to take on East Galway Celtics in what turned out to be an energetic, fast paced game that provided the spectators with a thrilling display of basketball.

Titans came out strong at the start to go 7 points up before EGC settled into their game and caught them in the second quarter. There was some great shooting at both ends of the court and both teams ran the fast break to finish skillfully.

In the end, EGC kept their lead to the final whistle and finished with 82 points against Titan's 77.

In a closely contested game this morning, East Galway Celtics hosted Maree BC in the Senior Men's League. It was a fast paced game with some excellent basketball from both sides to bring it to a nail biting finish at the buzzer of 64-64, sending the game to overtime. As the pace continued, Maree got the lucky break with the ball to move ahead and the game eventually finish at EGC(69) v Maree (76).
