Basketball Northern Ireland (BNI) is the National Governing Body for Basketball in Northern Ireland. The Association is affiliated to Basketball Ireland has responsibility for the promotion, development and administration of all basketball activities in Northern Ireland.

Cup and Plate Finals In the New Foyle Arena this weekend

The first competition of the BNI calendar is coming to it’s climax as the cup and plate semi-finals and finals are in the new Foyle Arena in Derry homeUU-Final of North Star Basketball Club who are one of the teams that have managed to make the semi-finals of the cup and are playing last year’s play-off champions Kilkeel Knights. The plate semi-finals are have a wide range of teams, BC Wolves are a new team who are fighting for top spot in D2 are playing the Tyrone Towers who have been one of the core clubs in the BNI community over the last decade and are competing in D1, while Andersonstown Tigers seconds have the task of playing a premier league team in UU Elks who got knocked-out in a surprise loss in the first round of the cup to be put in the plate.

Cup and Plate Finals In the New Foyle Arena this weekend

At long last we have managed to be able to put together a quick video on how to fill in the AccessNI forms.

If you are a Coach or club official who works with people under the age of 18 then you will need to ensure you have completed an AccessNI check. Please visit BasketballNI.com's Safeguarding section for more details.

In the next week we will review all pending applications and e-mail the applicant if their paperwork has not been submitted to direct them to revisit their applications.
